Hi,
I decided to move the repository from SF to OSDN (https://osdn.net), it has become too slow and unreliable. I continue to get corrupted files and similar problems randomly after commits, the situation does not seem to be improving.
Please do not commit anything until the process is complete. Maintainers that need to have write access to the new repository please open an account on OSDN and send me a message. I will keep SF opened for a while but only for file releases and tickets, eventually even those will be moved.

Re: [INFO] Moving repository to OSDN
The repository is ready.
OSDN page: https://osdn.net/projects/chibios/simple/
Repository information: https://osdn.net/projects/chibios/scm/svn/
About tickets, I am not impressed by the default tracker so I am thinking to install Mantis.

Re: [INFO] Moving repository to OSDN
After some testing, the repository is blazing fast, I was worried about latency because distance (it is hosted in Japan) but now I am really impressed.
I made the repo on SF read-only, working on a bug tracker now, in the meanwhile tickets will work as usual (forum and/or SF tracker).
Community mirrors should synchronize from here: http://svn.osdn.net/svnroot/chibios/

What a pity! I wasn't either, but if you dig a little, will see that git improves the workflow by far, despite the high learning curve in the beginning.
Anyway, I'm not here to convince you, just my 2 cents. The important is be confident about a tool, whatever one you choose. The migration to OSDN already is a winner.
Thanks!

Already tried and failed to convince him, too bad for the contributors

There's already an official mirror: https://github.com/ChibiOS/ChibiOS
It needs to be updated with the new repo though.

Just in case you need, here's another mirror on GitHub (it's updated twice a day):

Re: [INFO] Moving repository to OSDN
I've updated the official mirror since whoever was previously taking care of it is unreachable.
You will need to re-clone it as the references have changed.
I've also added mirrors on Bitbucket: https://bitbucket.org/chibios/
