ChibiOS/RT Codeblocks Setup

Postby Muffins » Sun Aug 26, 2018 11:01 pm

Hello.

I've been playing around with a ChibiOS AVR port in the Arduino IDE. I want to try using it in the Codeblocks IDE.

My problem is that I am a newbie I'm not sure how to set this up. I've downloaded the files for ChibiOS/RT from the main site but it looks quite different to the ports I've downloaded from github and I don't know what to do with it. Do I need to find a gcc port and get it working with codeblocks somehow?

Could somebody walk me through it?

Hi,

For the compiler go here: https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded

I cannot help about codeblocks, never used it.

Hello All,

Just to said that if you play with AVR part, you probably need to use "avr-gcc" not the ARM one.
regards,

Theo.
