Hi,
I forgot to post this, there is the ChibiOS ancestor in this little thing I designed almost 20 years ago (except the case), it is still commercially sold too.
It is a wall-mounted smart card terminal with networking (RS485) capability, keyboard and display. Thanks to power management it is able to work 48hours using autonomous power.
It uses a Z180 with 32KB EEPROM, 8KB RAM and 32KB of backup RAM. The OS is based on the ChibiOS ancestor "MK".

Are the strings metal or palstic based? Look plastic...

How comes that the case is symetrical (the transparent triangles on the left an right) but on one side there are two an on the other only one LED?
