No task name for the shell Topic is solved

Hi,

Is the shell intended to not have any task name?
Calling "threads" command in the shell doesn't display the task name for the shell.

I'm adding chRegSetThreadName("tShell") into the shellThread task

Hi,

It is not done because you may want to give different names to your shells, it is possible to attribute names to created threads from outside the thread function.
