Just found this on ST website.
Cool New Features / Improved ones:
-> Upto 180 MHz operating speed, 1 MB/2 MB Dual-Bank Flash, 256 KB
-> Integrated TFT-LCD controller
-> Integrated SDRAM controller
-> A new Serial Audio Interface (with TDM support) apart from 2 I2S interfaces
-> 3 x 2.4 MSPS 12-bit ADC
This along with all the usual goodies like 2 OTG, Ethernet, DCMI, 6 SPIs, 4 USARTs and 4 UARTs.
This looks like a killer MCU...
Best Regards

Heh, This must be exactly like back the days where the first 8-bit AVR with incredible 16MHz and integrated ADC got released
But yes, looks like they are doing a good progress.

Cool, never heard about this one I hope they will make a discovery kit for this.

Indeed. I hope they choose a bigger package this time. The pin conflicts with the headers and the on-board peripherals of the F4-Discovery are a bit a mess.

Awesome!!
And we also have a very bad library to drive those TFT LCDs!

The source of all information:
http://www.st.com/web/en/press/p3393
This also mentions that they have some sort of agreement with Segger for a STemWin package, wonder if they will offer it to the public to be downloaded from the website or it will remain closed source.
