I study ChibiOS. Like it, but there is a question.
Why is there no porting for Atmel SAMD21?
Are there any important technical issues that prevent this?

Re: Atmel SAMD21
Hi,
There are no technical issues, development and maintenance has a cost and my available time does not allow me to support anymore than I already do. If you see something supported it is because:
1) There is somebody volunteering work for it, or...
2) There is somebody sponsoring it, usually customers.
Everybody available to create and, mainly, maintaining ports for new families is absolutely welcome. Sponsors are even more welcome

Re: Atmel SAMD21
Hi all,
Last year, I started to make a port for SAMD21, I didn't see any difficulties and I thing that another people have already made a port of ChibiOS on this architecture, I found some thing on the net.
When my version would be mature, I will be happy to share my work. Or I will be happy to work with other people on this port, there are may module to implement.
Thanks.
