Hi!
I'm an embedded developer working on a new project with a new core (PPC e200z7 based), we're surveying options for RTOS's at the moment. Our previous project was based on uCOSII, and are looking for something with similar features/footprint.
Do you have any plan in your roadmap for support of the PPC e200z7 based cores from NXP?
All the best,
Sam

Re: Roadmap for PPC e200z7
Hi,
It would not be a huge change in the port layer, probably just add the core selection option, code should be the same.
You could try the current port and select it as a Z4, it should work. Support is something different than just "work", it would mean acquiring development tools, boards, creating demos and have everything inserted in our test cycle.
Currently we don't have plans for it, those devices are dedicated to automotive and it makes no sense from a purely open-source perspective.
