Hello Giovanni,
While I want to browse the chibios sourceforge page, I got this message:
The sourceforge.net website is temporarily in static offline mode.
Only a very limited set of project pages are available until the main website returns to service.
It is the same while trying to commit to the trunk:
Committing to https://svn.code.sf.net/p/chibios/svn/trunk ...
Can't create session: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'https://svn.code.sf.net/p/chibios/svn/trunk': Error running context: Connection refused at /usr/lib/git-core/git-svn line 1007.
I don't know if you where aware of that!
Thanks.
[FIXED] SVN repo is down!!

Re: SVN repo is down!!
SF don't seem to be doing very well again:

At least it sounds as if they're trying to implement a long-term fix.

Re: SVN repo is down!!
I think it is time to have our own repository and bug tracker server or, at least, a paid service.

Re: SVN repo is down!!
It is still down.... and I am tired of it.
Does anybody have experience with "a2 hosting"? it seems a nice hosting with subversion/cvs/git/mercurial capability, price looks good too.
I am thinking to register chibisomething.org and give it a try as an experiment.

Re: SVN repo is down!!
Don't have experience with A2.
I use InMotion for a bunch of sites and have found their support to be largely good.
YMMV of course.
An alternative would be to set up an instance on AWS.

Re: SVN repo is down!!
Update.
SF is actually up, it is the ChibiOS repository that is broken. I rsynch-ed it locally and discovered that revision 10723 is corrupted (it is head), checking out 10722 works so the repository is saved except the last commit which I have anyway.
I am doing a recovery procedure locally on my workstation (svn dump then load), I am waiting for SF to do the same on their side or I will try to redo it using shell access.

Hello Giovanni,
Happy to heard that SF is now up and that you are trying to fix the last problem that remind in ChibiOS repo.
It took 3 days at all .
So what is you decision? The project will still stay on SF or you will use your own server?

Re: SVN repo is down!!
I will try to get it working again on SF because we need it soon AND then look for an alternative, probably a physical server housed somewhere or that A2 hosting.
BTW recovery worked on my PC.
