ChibiOS structure

Postby tfAteba » Wed Mar 29, 2017 12:59 pm

Hi all,

I was looking to ChibiOS structure, and I sow that there are many test directories:
    -test
    -testhal
    -testex

If I want to test a software library for exemple I2C, I will also have for exemple a testlib.

Instead of having that, what about having a directory eg test and then have inside all the tests we need to make (hal, rt, nil, lib and so on...)

Maybe I'm loosing something that justify the actual structure?
regards,

Theo.

It is mostly legacy, probably it will change in future.

Good to hear that, for me it will be more logic and it will offer a better hiérarchie to change the structure unless someone provide another way to do :).

Theo.
