Branches 3.0.x and 2.6.x are no more supported starting today.
This means:
- No more official releases for those branches.
- No more bug fixes back-ported to those branches.
Consider also:
- The SVN branches contain a lot of unreleased fixes for those versions, you can get the latest code from the repository, most known problems have already been fixed, see the file readme.txt.
- We may back-port some fixes to those branches if requested and real reasons are given.
- You can back-port HAL changes by yourself to 3.0.x, the code bases are still very close.
- Commercial users will be updated to 16.1 at no cost if we get a request, some have already been updated.
You are encouraged to migrate to 16.1.x, it is just better, it will be supported at least through the whole 2017. Next mayor release will occur in Q1 next year: 17.month.0.
