Hi,
When creating a new chibios project i usually keep the board folder in the root of my project workspace instead of referring to the os/hal/boards/#boardname#/ since you can set the output path to .. this works fine. the annoying thing is that the path in the generated makefile points to the boards directory in the os-folder. It would have been nice to set the path of the board.mk.ftl in the board.chcfg XML-file.
I have solved this for myself by editing the ftl-file but this make my .chcfg file unusable by others. Another option is of course to copy the complete chibios-folder into the project directory, but that approach seams a little bloated since the board is the only thing I would like to edit.

Re: ChibiStudio board configuration generator
Hi,
An easy workaround is to not use the generated .mk file, include board.c directly in your source files. This is what I do when I put board files within a project.
