Hello Giovanni,
I would like to ask why was Posix-GCC target removed from 3.x releases?

Not removed, just not yet ported over, like several other things.

Bringing this topic back from the dead, is it ever planned to port it back to stable chibios?

Hi,
Yes, at some point, it is not exactly high priority. You could attempt to port the 2.6.x code, there are not many differences. Use the Win32 port as example.
