As a matter of fact I checked and it seems that the same error happens to the demo I compiled !

Make sure to follow the installation steps in this guide: http://chibios.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id ... udio:start
There is something wrong in your installation if you are not able to compile demos.

Then no other ideas except:
1) Make sure you have Java JRE 32 bits installed.
2) Make sure you are administrator on your PC.
3) Make sure to launch the tool using the provided shortcuts (not eclipse directly).

No, it should work from XP to Win10, I am out of ideas. You could try on another PC if in doubt.
