It should just work, not being able to set the breakpoint is an effect not a cause.

which version of OpenOCD are you using? You can pick the version from the first string printed out on the start up of OpenOCD.

Open On-Chip Debugger 0.10.0+dev-00746-g8f518d359 (2019-03-14-17:18) this is what i'm using.
I have not kept any breakpoint .It is causing error when i entering debug mode and also when i tried to run i'm getting the same.

Could you please update openocd downloading it from playembedded.org
There is a bugfix that should solve the issue.

Hi,
updated the new openocd still it is not working,I'm getting same.
i see two config files one inside openocd\scripts\board and another inside openocd\scripts\target.
when i use cfg file inside target folder i'm not getting that error.why it is not working for one inside board file??
