lwip compatibility

Hello!

I am using the current ChibiOS 17.6.0 in ChibiStudio 19 and I am wondering what the lwip version compatibility is. Just today, lwip 2.0.3 was released.

As only lwip 1.4.1 is included in ChibiStudio, I assumed that this is the highest supported version with regard to bindings. Is this true or can I use a newer version? I did not find an official statement.

Bindings for lwIP 2 have already been contributed but not yet merged: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=3316&start=30
