Dead time for TIM1

Hey all

I am making a BLDC driver board using stm32f4 discovery

I need to introduce dead time in PWM channels... Can some one tell me how to do it??

Hi,

You have to correctly program the field of the PWM configuration structure, this field is only enabled when STM32_PWM_USE_ADVANCED is enabled in mcuconf.h.

About *how* to use that field, I don't have an example so you have to read the documentation of the TIM1/TIM8 BDTR register in the STM32 Reference Manual, also read the section 13.3.11.
