Then the problem is likely not with the demo but something in your environment/setup, not sure about the possible cause.

The symptoms were a crash a few seconds after booting. Slow enough for me to get some work done working on my software, and allowing me to "I'll figure out where that crash comes from later". Eventually I checked the compiler. I thought I had installed the ARM one on all my machines but apparently not this one.
