Support for STM32H750

Postby djedski30 » Thu Jun 11, 2020 2:01 am

Hello,

I'm brand new to ChibiOS and STM32. I have a project that wants to use the STM32H750 chip and I'm looking into running ChibiOS on it and I saw that this chip is not yet supported in ChibiOS. Any tips on how to go about creating the necessary board files?

Thanks!
Ed

Hi,

Start from an STM32H743 demo.

- Modify mcuconf.h and put the H750 identifier in it, you may remove peripherals not present on the H750 too.
- Clone an H743 board.
- Edit board.chcfg with your board settings. Regenerate the board files using ChibiStudio, there is a playembedded video covering this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwJqZfITvV0
- Modify the makefile to include the new board.
