STM32 L496ZG

Postby angelab » Sun Jun 18, 2017 1:51 am

Hello everyone,

I got this nucleo board with the 144 pin L4 series. 1mb flash and 320kb ram. I see there is a L476xx, can i use this or do i have to make a new port? if so, how?

Thanks!

Hi,

That specific device is not yet supported, it does not require a new port, just an update of the existing L4 port. Usually this involves:

1) Updating the L4 headers from ST.
2) Adding an entry in stm32_registry.h.
3) Changes in hal_lld.h/.c (if required).
4) Testing.
