Hi Everyone
Can anyone please provide some hint on how to configure and use the Segger JLINK debugger in ChibiStudio? Im running it all on windows, have jlink drivers installed
Im very new to Eclipse, JLINK is the only probe i have, and really want to get our board running the ChibiOS.
Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi,
It is matter of configuring OpenOCD to use JLink instead of STLink. In the tools menu, where you see the STLink launchers, you can add more entries, duplicate an STLink entry and replace the configuration files with the JLink ones, you need to read the OpenOCD manual for details.
If JLink comes with its own GDB server then you may not need OpenOCD at all, create a configuration that launches the JLink server.

Hi I am using it currently. I will write soon an article on PLAY Embedded about that, even because now it is possible to flash STLink with a JLink lite firmware.

Hello Rocco
Do you have some progress with this video (ChibiStudio with J-Link)?
What kind of GDB server you are using - the Segger's one or OpeOCD?

Re: Segger Jlink support in ChibiStudio
Hi,
I am currently using jlink with segger gdb cl which works well and is downloadable from segger website.
BTW the problem of Openocd is I have to use Zadig to act on usbdriver and this makes OpenOCD incompatible with SeggerGDBcl.

Ok. But in this case do you have a working Chibi plugins in ChibiStudio? As I remember corectly it uses an OpenOCD "specific syntax" to collect data and variables from the target ant to show ChibiOS state.
