Compiling different files with different flags? Topic is solved
Hi all,
I have a problem where I am using a math library that creates a code explosion when compiled with O0.
So I would like to define a few files which have their own optimization level.
What would be the easiest way to do this in ChibiOS?
Thanks!

Re: Using driver that share DMA streams
This is a limitation of the DMA peripheral. When you setup the DMA, you do it per Stream so (psuedo code): DMA1_Stream4->config = USE_CHANNEL_7 | SETTINGS; This means that you can only set up one Channel at a time per Stream. If you want to share DMA Streams, one driver may only use a stream at a ti...

I quite like this feature (as I also use COBS-ZPE/ZRE).
I have an NUCLEO-F7 on the way, I could probably add the missing parts if no one feels up to the task.

Cool!

No problem, if we desired it a lot we can provide patches as well
Could you point to an example of device specific additions in a config structure for reference?

That is a really useful feature!
Which MCUs has it? I could only find it on the STM32F7s.
Could it still be integrated if it is not a generic feature, Giovanni?

I also would very much like this feature.

Re: C++ wrappers
Greetings, NOTE: I'm using Msys2 as my build environment as Eclipse with the GNU-arm system died/was way too slow. I'd used FreeBSD for years so... I've been testing cpp-wrapper-patch-20160729 in a custom project based on the demo for the Nucleo64-F303RE. I'm using a main.cpp semi-based on the G++ ...

Re: UART line idle handling.
Hi Giovanni,
Will you add this? It does not seems to have been added to trunk.
