Re: Howto saving Data in Flash in Cortex M3/M4

You would need to check in a different datasheet called the 'STM32 F2/F4 Flash programming manual' in the section on the ST website where you get the datasheet. They describe it there. Correct. I'm also going to replace my F10x with F4xx mcus so I'd be interested in such a driver, too. Will you pub...

Re: I2C Bus error handling

On the other hand, the ChibiOS drivers had quite some time to mature and already work around hardware bugs etc. If I were you, I'd look into making those driver more stable and validate that they work. Never underestimate the time you need to write working drivers..... :twisted:

Re: Accessing debugging output from STM32F4 Discovery board

Just to warn you:
summon-arm-toolchain has some problems with function calls and generates invalid assembler code. I've never figured out why. I recommend looking into one of those:

Re: Starting the DHCP in STM32 demo

Hmmm I also never used DHCP - but there is a note on the lwip wiki: This example assumes static IP, but the final netif_set_up could be replace by dhcp_start or autoip_start (see Network interfaces management for more information). Maybe you have to remove the call to netif_set_up? Also: When callin...

Could you provide all the logs you can find? Especially the logs from your jlink gdb server.

Re: AVRMega can't switch two threads

Hmm it's years since i last worked with AVRs... void boardInit(void) { /* * Timer 1 setup. */ TCCR1A = (1 << WGM11) | (0 << WGM10) | /* CTC mode. */ (0 << COM1A1) | (0 << COM1A0) | /* OC0A disabled. */ (0 << COM1B1) | (0 << COM1B0); /* OC0B disabled. */ TCCR1B = (0 << WGM12) | /* CTC mode. */ (0 << ...

Re: AVRMega can't switch two threads

Have you made sure that your timer interrupts fire? Also, make sure that the code posted by Giovanni matches your hardware. Can you debug your hardware? How do you know that they are still stalled? Maybe the LEDs toggle faster than your eyes can see?

Re: AVRMega can't switch two threads

Ok so your main code is: #include <avr/io.h> #include <avr/interrupt.h> #include "ch.h" static WORKING_AREA(myThreadWorkingArea,128); static msg_t myThread(void *arg); int main(void) { DDRA = 0xFF; PORTA = 0xFF; chSysInit(); chThdCreateStatic(myThreadWorkingArea,sizeof(myThreadWorkingArea)...

Re: FatFS performance

On the other hand, the Write performance does only depend on the card - the SPI data rate should be the same for both directions, shouldn't it? And given that it only shows with fatfs - maybe the FAT is not aligned or something? Or try another card?
