Re: Floating point issue on Raspberry PI

I think you might need to add

Code: Select all

UDEFS = -DCHPRINTF_USE_FLOAT=TRUE
to your Makefile or at least ensure CHPRINTF_USE_FLOAT is defined somewhere that chprintf.h will see it.

Re: ChibiOS/RT with C++ STL

Not directly related to the issue in this thread, but it appears that the cpp wrapper hasn't been updated to take account of the event changes. I have trunk @ r4843 and get this when compiling the STM32F103-G++ demo: Compiling ../../os/various/ch.cpp ../../os/various/ch.cpp: In static member functio...

Re: Simulator on Linux or Windows

I fixed that issue with this change: --- /home/Software/chibios/demos/Posix-GCC/main.c 2012-10-16 21:13:41.497321726 +0100 +++ main.c 2012-11-04 10:01:00.130219397 +0000 @@ -23,6 +23,7 @@ #include "test.h" #include "shell.h" #include "chprintf.h" +#include "stdio.h...

Re: ChibiOS OpenOCD support

Thanks, I did notice odd behaviour when stepping and viewing thread info and thought it was my gdb noobness. Is there anything I can do to help?

I also see varied behaviour depending on the -O? optimisation options used for the compile.

Re: ChibiOS OpenOCD support

Sorry for being a git noob, but how do I get the patch from your link, and then apply it to my src?

Re: ChibiOS OpenOCD support

I'm on x86, so that's different.

I'm using those exact same commands, give or take a few path differences.

Edit: I was using "tar ext :3333" in gdb, but using "tar rem :3333" still fails the same way.

Re: ChibiOS OpenOCD support

gdb is the pre-built toolchain from https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded, version 4.6-2012-q2-update openocd is from git master, I have no idea how the output of --version relates to the git log output. The last entry in git log is: commit 4a5dc0988ac91d1b5e63a28688edc2c6e890c179 Author: Spencer O...
