Re: question on using timer and DMA for complex signal gener

OK, I think I got most of the timer stuff setup using... /* * GPT3 configuration. */ static GPTConfig gpt3cfg = { 84000000, /* timer clock. 84000000 / 800000 = 105 */ NULL, /* Timer callback.*/ STM32_TIM_DIER_CC1DE | STM32_TIM_DIER_CC2DE | STM32_TIM_DIER_CC4DE | STM32_TIM_DIER_UDE }; and gptStart(&a...

question on using timer and DMA for complex signal generatio

I have a couple of questions about using a timer and DMA for signal generation on the STM32F4-discovery. I want to use a timer to generate 3 "interrupts" to trigger three different DMA transfers. I am planning on using the "reload" interrupt and 2 capture compare interrupts to tr...

Hi Giovanni,

Perhaps I did not make myself clear.

This is from the unmodified demo program. No changes were made.

Re: Creating new project in ChibiStudio. Step-by-step guide.

Hi Everyone, I was just trying to create a new project using ARMCM4-STM32F407-DISCOVERY as a starting point. I think I was able to create the new project, but it fails to compile with the following errors. I think that demo project may be broken in the distribution. 13:28:09 **** Incremental Build o...

ChibiStudio is the fastest way to get the development tools installed and quit messing with the tool and start working on your project!

ChibiStudio ROCKS!!!!

Oh yes... It also includes Chibios/RT :P :P

Re: STM32F4 files going "unstable" on trunk for a while

Hi Giovanni, Any feel for how "stable" the STM32F429 code is yet? Anything working at all? I am going to the training class Nov 14th in Atlanta and getting one of the discovery boards. I was thinking about porting my 20 blinking LED project to it during a dull moment and maybe stir up some...

Wow, just think what you could do with a STM32F429Discovery with its big external RAM!! I wonder if the LCD would get in the way....

Re: Debugging improvements.

I like the idea of part 3 & 4. Having a option of sending debugging information would be useful when working with systems that don't support easy in circuit debugging. I would thing a basic serial driver that when called, disables all interrupts, configures a serial port for polled serial output...

Re: CLI

Hi Pito,

There is an additional module you can include into your application.

Do a search for shell.c and shell.h

Once you have looked it over and reviewed a couple of demo programs,
feel free to ask questions.
