STM32 F4: SDIO & SPI1 on the same DMA stream

Hello, I faced a problem while building a UI application using the ChibiOS/GFX library, whenever I used the touchscreen [the TSC IC is connected on SPI1], I couldn't read from the SD Card as long as the touch screen was on. The application was freezing randomly, and while debugging, I found that FS_...

Re: Problems with SDIO [STM32F4Discovery]

I did some more probing. The error that occurs is SDIO_STA_DCRCFAIL. Then, I tried to bypass the CRC fail by accepting the faulty data frame (and commenting out the if ((SDIO->STA & SDIO_STA_DATAEND) == 0) condition). More debugging reveals that there is a missing byte, probably the first byte a...

Problems with SDIO [STM32F4Discovery]

Hello All, I'm trying to use SDIO with STM32F4Discovery board and a patchboard. After I got the SD card to initialize correctly. sdcConnect returns 0. I can't get it to display the contents of the card (in a listing sort of). It returns a FS_DISKERR error code. ChibiOS used is 2.6.0, the one bundled...

Re: STM32VL Debug

For ST-LINK v1, you have to replace default Mass Storage drivers with the WinUSB or libusb drivers using the zadig utility.

This should solve it for you.

Re: Question about New Notepad Demo for ChibiOS/GFX

Hello xlh1460, The demo is defined to work in such a way that it requires a screen which is more than 240 pixels wide. This means that if you are using a 240x320 display like the SSD1289, you will have to rotate the screen 90 degrees, to make all the UI elements draw all right. Regarding your issue ...

Re: Problem with eclipse and atan

I suppose you are using Eclipse with linux, and you are using the ChibiOS makefiles, right?

You should add '-lm' to the makefile to the DLIBS section of the Makefile. It should work then.

Use chprintf, with a GWinConsole.

You can find a guide here: http://www.chibios-gfx.com/documentation/gwin/console .

Re: Few STM32F3-Discovery available for devs/contributors

I am interested too in having one. I will be using the board for robotics applications using ChibiOS.
