Re: Memory reallocation

In case of anyone is interested: This is how it's done inside the µGFX library in case of the underlying operating system doesn't support realloc() : void* gfxRealloc(void* ptr, size_t oldsz, size_t newsz) { void* np; if (newsz <= oldsz) { return ptr; } np = gfxAlloc(newsz); if (!np) { return 0; } i...

Re: GFX Scrollbar

Hello chelox, Maybe you want to have a look at the µGFX library (http://ugfx.org). It provides you with everything from simple drawing routines up to a full widget based GUI toolkit including a slider. It is easy to create your custom widgets (a scrollbar) and we are happy to help you over at the uG...

Re: STM32F103RB and 2.4" TFT problem

I would recommend you asking at the place where you got the sources from. This is certainly not a ChibiOS/RT issue. Most drivers for displays like this you find on the internet are of a very bad quality and only work with exactly one display module. You might want to take a look at the µGFX library ...

Re: STM32F103RB and 2.4" TFT problem

We need a lot more information in order to help you. Let's start by telling us about your graphics framework. Eg: are you using a graphics library such as uGFX or is this your custom driver/library? If you are using an existing library you might want to seek help through the corresponding channels a...

Re: STM32F7 and ChibiOS

Giovanni, should I already start writing the µGFX board files so people can use the display and the touchscreen with ChibiOS/RT 3.0 and µGFX or should I wait until you have more than 'Preliminary support'.

Website: Documentation download

While I really appreciate that it is possible to directly download just the documentation from the website (really, nice feature!) I would strongly recommend providing the archive as a ZIP instead of a tarball. I know that it is possible unpacking it under Windows but this required 3rd party tools w...

Re: [WARNING] SourceForge DOWN (now back up, notes inside)

I won't say anything more to this. Nobody who worked with SVN before and switched to GIT regrets it. GIT is simpler to use for working alone AND for working together. I did try and set up a git repo a few years ago, and it was the usual open source documentation shambles of searching all over the pl...
