Chibios 18.2.1 and CRC driver

Hi,

sorry, may be, this is not the right place to ask this question: anybody managed to compile the community-supported HAL CRC driver with the Chibios 18.2.1? I've got a bunch of compilation errors. Earlier I used the same driver with the ChibiOS_17.6.3 with no problem.

Regards,
Vladimir

GPIOv2 and ChibiOS_18.2.1

Hi, I write a program for STMF4xx processors, and I'm trying to upgrade from ChibiOS 17.6.3 to ChibiOS_18.2.1. I learned that now I must use the GPIOv2 driver instead of GPIOv1, so I cannot use the PALConfig structure to set the GPIO up anymore. My question is how should I initialize the periphery n...

Re: Serial and Shell over UART how?

Thanks, Giovanni, now I have managed to get the shell over serial compiled and running. But the data sent and receiver is invalid: I see two bytes received when I send just one. For example, if I send 0x61 (press 'a' in the screen program), I always receive the 0x78 and 0xf8 bytes, and so on. If I u...

Serial and Shell over UART how?

Hi, I'm trying to implement: 1. printf() functions over UART 2. Shell over UART. First, I have the UART2 enabled by setting: HAL_USE_UART in halconf.h UART_USE_WAIT in halconf.h STM32_UART_USE_USART2 in mcuconf.h so far so good, and I can successfully transmit and receive bytes with the uartSendXXX(...

Re: Restarting an I2S transfer changes alignement in DMA RX buffer

Yes. And it remains even if you just use i2sStopExchange/i2sStartExchange.

Re: Restarting an I2S transfer changes alignement in DMA RX buffer

No. This are the related code fragments. The mikeInit() initializes the structures once. The mikeStart() starts the transfer, the mikeStop() stops it. The sequence: <reset the processor> mikeInit(); // Capture the first record mikeStart(); ... collect some data, synchronization is Ok mikeStop(); ......

Re: Restarting an I2S transfer changes alignement in DMA RX buffer

Bumped exactly into the same problem. No other workaround but never stopping the I2S :( Has anybody found the solution yet?
