Re: Debug plugin with DSF support

It's working with 2019-03 and 2019-06 on my linux mate.
Thanks!

P.S.: Can't find any options for "DSF" or similar.

Re: how to check the thread memory stack

Quite old thread but somehow helpful. My modified version checks the stack until the first none fill value. static size_t get_thd_free_stk(void *wsp, size_t size) { size_t n = 0; uint8_t *startp = (uint8_t *)wsp + sizeof(thread_t); uint8_t *endp = (uint8_t *)wsp + size + sizeof(thread_t); while (*st...

When it helps to have a working USB-CDC example for the blue pill, I could upload something.

Re: LTO and weak definitions Topic is solved

Hmmm... In my case it's not chibi-related. I have a startup code from st. And the SysTick is weak.
I can see, that the interrupt handler in chibi are also weak in assembler (vector.S).

LTO and weak definitions Topic is solved

Hi, I don't know if ChibiOS is affected. But I just jumped over an GCC bug again. If you have an assembler file, which has weak symbols, and the linker will see this weak object file after the regular strong implementation, it will drop it. Check also: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embedded/+bu...

Probably you want some more actual documents.

The one you get from Google(?) is somehow outdated.

Here is the excel file with all results. Simply copy a column C to I into B for compare.

Re: [INFO] Results with GCC 8.2.1 vs GCC 7.3.1

I could make some more tests also with Ofast.

GCC 6 is available from ARM. But GCC 5 only for 32bit linux. I found a 5.3. 64bit.

Probably after this weekend.
