Re: chibios + elua

Try to replace this in Makefile with your path:

Code: Select all

CHIBIOSLUA ?= $(shell pwd)

Re: [POLL] ChibiOS 3.0, complete enough for release?

The best way how to check whether it is complete enough for a release is to do release it :)

Re: STM32F4 multi ADC mode

Hi Piers, it is my current understanding the sampling period in your driver is set 480+12 ADC clocks (ADC's clock probably 84MHz/8). Is it there a way one can set the sampling period with a timer_x? (ie. 10.000kHz). Btw #define ADC_GRP1_BUF_DEPTH (1*ADC_N_ADCS) // must be 1 or even crashes. PS: I ca...

Win7 64bit - jre and jdk

Hi, I downloaded the latest ChStudio (which I consider important to me as I am still a noob) into my new Win7 64bit, then downloaded 64b jre (wrong), then 32bit jre (correct), then messed with stlink (needed to install a new fw into stm32vl which did not work straight) and finally I got everything r...

Re: sinus emulation with pwm on stm43f4-discovery howto?

You may generate the sinus directly via DAC.

Re: Set PWM output range between VDD and GND

my oscilloscope shows the signal oscillating between -1.5v and 1.5v That may happen in case you use capacitive coupling.. The output of the F4 shall be coupled directly to the gate of the n-channel MOSFET via a small resistor (like 100ohm) to avoid over-current when charging/discharging the MOSFET'...

Re: SDIO Conflict with I2S on modded F4 Discovery Board

I had problems with some cards because it has current consumption more than 250 - 300mA in peak at insertion moment!!! Maybe a short when inserting the sdcard into the socket? :) Probably this is why I have seen inductors in some designs. A ferrite bead might help.. I would be careful of adding lar...

Re: SDIO Conflict with I2S on modded F4 Discovery Board

An sdcard can take 100mA peak. So I would use thicker wires for its power and ground. Also I always use few ceramic multilayer 10u smd capacitors (2-3) for its decoupling, instead of an aluminum or tantalum types. Place the decoupling capacitors close at sdcard's vcc pins (when using transistor for ...

Re: SDIO Conflict with I2S on modded F4 Discovery Board

Adding the 100ohm resistor in series limits the "ringing" when the wires are long. How is your sdcard wired? Do you have pullups there? How is your decoupling? Any schematics available?

Re: 2 simultaneously sampling ADCs, hw timer triggered

I've found a source at my.st.com forum doing that (for F4) but that is not under chibios, a pity. F4's adcs are ok for that, moreover you need speed and ram space for toying with dsp and F3 does not offer it. https://my.st.com/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/cortex_mx_stm32/Flat.aspx?RootFolder=ht...
