Re: ICU driver and 32 bits timer

Hi Giovanni, Attached is a zip of the updated ICU. To test I had to bring up the new *.inc format on the F413 where I have a board that uses ICU in normal and also overflow scaling. So that took a little while for the TIM support (I have yet to finish the EXTI and UART parts of stm32_isr.x). I teste...

Re: ICU driver and 32 bits timer

Hi Giovanni, #0 OK on the ARR change. For overflow handling it is redundant to change the size of ARR value between 16 and 32 bit timers. The compiler will generate a word write (mov.w) due to the TIM struct defining ARR as uint32_t. So writing FFFF into "thin air" of the non-existent uppe...

Re: STM32 HAL USARTv1 incorrect DMA channel for some UARTs Topic is solved

Hi Giovanni. OK on the USARTv1 patch being good to go. WRT USARTv2 I did a quick look over the L4 and F0 series and didn't find the UART split tx/rx channel quirk of the F413. However, I'll check the CHSEL implementation and the separation of dmamode between rx and tx for the USARTv2 driver. I'll ge...

Re: ICU driver and 32 bits timer

Hi, Since the TIM ARR has reserved address space for 32 bit data for all timers and the struct definition for ARR is always 32 bit, I figure there should be no harm in just making that value 0xFFFFFFFF for all timers for now? BTW Alexandre there is a bug with ICU overflow if attempting to use the ca...

Re: ICU driver and 32 bits timer

Hi Alexandre
Do you have a callback on overflow setup?
Which MCU?
Which TIM?

Re: EFL sectors are 16134 bytes instead of 16K on some STM32F4xx Topic is solved

Hi DRon.
Thanks for picking that up.
Will fix in trunk ASAP.
BTW you will note only limited F4xx types are supported by that EFL ATM.
Just didn't have time to trawl through them all as I just needed F413.

If you want to do it go ahead, follow the pattern and then just attach the patch as a ZIP
