Kernel state?

I've got a function that calls a number of APIs and I want it to be usable from I-State as well as normal-state, by checking what state it has been called from and invoking the appropriate I-class or normal API. However I can't find an API that gives me the current kernel state! I've looked in the d...

Re: PAL Mode Documentation?

Understood Giovanni thanks - appreciate all of this is free so I shouldn't be complaining! Just found it difficult to follow the logic on these and was rather frustrated by the API.......

PAL Mode Documentation?

Sorry to post this rant as in general I love ChiBIOS despite being relatively new to it, but I'm really struggling with the PAL driver and specifically the seemingly inconsistent and confusing ways of setting things up. I'm using an STM32F4 and can easily set it up to use alternate function 9 with a...

Re: HAL Event Sources / Listeners etc?

Funnily enough CAN and Serial were the two I was experimenting with, so I hadn't realised that it was relatively few that used events; it seems like an excellent model so I'd be interested in the rationale for not using more widely? Ov...

HAL Event Sources / Listeners etc?

Apologies if I've missed this - I have looked in the documentation at length and the FAQ on this site - but I can't see anything that tells me what events the various HAL drivers can generate. I've noticed they do indeed generate events, but at the moment I'm having to work through each drivers code...

Re: one wire library

Excellent work Alexandre. I saw the original article and was just about to start writing code for it, but you've already done all the hard work. This works perfectly on my STM32F3Discovery with a couple of 18B20s under 2.6.1. The only bit I changed was a minor compile warning in usartDictionaryAddPa...
