Found the issue, seems eclipse remembers things in a folder called .dep ???

deleted this and then it compiled ok.....

what is .dep used for ?
is it how the incremental build knows whats changed ?

If so something is not working right

moving board files

Tried to move the board files to a folder in the poject, this was named board1. ive now gone back to the original, but the compiler is still complaining about some thing that is not there anymore...... is there something i'm missing or need to clear out, its like it remembers teh old folder make: **...

Big Binary

Does anyone have any ideas on how i can produce a binary output that fills the full flash area.

i need this to test a bootloader and ensure it can write the full flash image correctly.

currently my test app image is 100KB but the need to test images upto 448KB in size

Hi, It is an entirely HW behavior, considering that the FIFO is one byte deep then it is kinda expected. STM32F411 and RTS

Hi on the STM32F411 is it right when using the serial driver with hardware flow-control, RTS asserts every time a byte is received ?

I'm running at 115200 Baud and this seems to be what i see on the logic analyser. Is this what one would expect ?

WWDG i use as this is a better solution of units with power management i.e. that go to sleep...... I also added to mine the ability to monitor different threads in the system. Any thread that should be monitored registers with the watchdog. After that they have to sign in regularly within a period, ...

Answered my own question:- using floating point versions of the maths functions and then switching on FPU, processing now at 500mS :-)
