This is my local issue, sorry - please abort ticket.

I was using make from GNU ARM Eclipse\Build Tools

once I hit make from GNU ARM Eclipse\Build Tools and installed make from Cygwin things got fine!

Looks like this is about standard headers maybe with my specific compiler? here's what I got with "make -d" On the one hand some files do NOT recompile No need to remake target '.dep/loggingcentral.o.d'. No need to remake target '.dep/dodge_neon.o.d'. but on the other hand Prerequisite '/u...

That's with -O0
port_lock is not inlined but __set_BASEPRI is inlined with my settings. Is __set_BASEPRI using a stronger syntax?

What is the intention with declaring methods like for instance port_lock "static inline"? Because 'static' we have multiple copies in the binary - does it have pros, or only cons of extra binary size? Was the hope to have this method always inlined to save on branching? I am looking at my ...
