CRC Support for STM32

Hi,

does anyone know if there is any support planned for the crc coprocessor found on some of the STMs? There is a community implementaton but it doesn't seem to be currently maintained. A builtin crc check for the SPI or UART driver would be useful too.

Thanks!
Regards
Julian

Re: [PROPOSAL] Use the forum for bug tracking.

One might also consider using a pre-built 3rd party bugtracker. They provide a lot of interesting metrics and useful tools a forum doesn't. Github Issues also provide a decent amount of features for this purpose. Lots of open source project use it as a bugtracker. But I get the point, that the forum...

Re: [NOTE] Things nice to have

Yeah, incorporating that into all HAL drivers would help a lot :)

Re: [NOTE] Things nice to have

Not sure if this is the right place, but it would be nice to be able to easily switch between a DMA and a non-DMA implementation for the periphery in the HAL. Sometimes all DMA Channels are used for certain pins and one has to manually write non-DMA drivers.

Re: [DISASTER] Web site gone

I believe there is a latex interpreter that supports Markdown. So we could basically use latex for the framework (page numbers etc) and then just link the markdown pages for the actual content. For the web side: You might wanna have a look at github wiki. That supports Markdown and provides the fram...

Re: Howto: CLion and ChibiOS

Yes of course, but all the submodules conviently provide .mk files that can simply be included from the master Makefile. If I use CMake I have to rewrite those or finde some other ways to only compile the needed modules.

Re: Updating Project from older ChibiStudio version

Yeah when I selected the elf file and the project open it ran but produced no result. That might be due to me already having a launch file in the debug folder.

Re: [DISASTER] Web site gone

Hmm that depends how you wrote the book, did you write it directly in HTML or use Latex or some other tool?

If the former, Rauls suggestions is probably the best approach for the mean time :)

If you send me the HTML I can take care of it.

Re: Howto: CLion and ChibiOS

I'm in contact with them. They promised to have a beta some time this year :)

Interesting project, not entirely sure how that works yet, since chibiOS is makefile based :)
