Re: Generated Board.h File from CubeMX

Hi Giovianni,

thanks for the clarification, whats the fastest way to debug that? Do you know if the cubemx script is still working?

Thanks!

Generated Board.h File from CubeMX

Hi, I used the python script found in https://github.com/ChibiOS/ChibiOS-Contrib/tree/chibios-20.3.x/tools to generate a board file. I used all the other settings from the STM327F767 Board file. Previously I had set my pins over the C code i.e. with: palSetPadMode(GPIOD, 1, PAL_MODE_ALTERNATE(8) | P...

Re: Writing to Internal Flash on STM32F767

Is the port for the EFL Driver to different uC planned for future versions?

Writing to Internal Flash on STM32F767

I'm trying to use the internal flash on the F767 to write/read some configuration data. However I'm confused as how to accomplish that, i.e. which driver to use. I figured out that the MFS file system driver is useful for this but I'm not entirely sure if I need the EFL Driver and how to configure i...

Event Boilerplate Code

I'm using events to signal some changes to my statemachine running in its own thread, I might as well use messaging or direct signaling but events seems to work well. The thing that bothers me is the amount of boilerplate I have to write to add a single event. (Code is an excerpt from different file...

CRC Support for STM32

Hi,

does anyone know if there is any support planned for the crc coprocessor found on some of the STMs? There is a community implementaton but it doesn't seem to be currently maintained. A builtin crc check for the SPI or UART driver would be useful too.

Thanks!
Regards
Julian

Re: [PROPOSAL] Use the forum for bug tracking.

One might also consider using a pre-built 3rd party bugtracker. They provide a lot of interesting metrics and useful tools a forum doesn't. Github Issues also provide a decent amount of features for this purpose. Lots of open source project use it as a bugtracker. But I get the point, that the forum...

Re: [NOTE] Things nice to have

Yeah, incorporating that into all HAL drivers would help a lot :)

Re: [NOTE] Things nice to have

Not sure if this is the right place, but it would be nice to be able to easily switch between a DMA and a non-DMA implementation for the periphery in the HAL. Sometimes all DMA Channels are used for certain pins and one has to manually write non-DMA drivers.
