Re: spiStop() breaks SPI reception on STM32F042

Ok, I tried a delay of up to 100ms (chThdSleepMilliseconds), but the bytes are still flipped. Should the delay be blocking or is sleep sufficient? I will compare the dma registers of the two implementations tomorrow, if there is some issue to be found in those.

Re: spiStop() breaks SPI reception on STM32F042

No, I do have them enabled already.

Currently, I have two slaves on the SPI bus: A display and a temperature sensor, with a chip select each. The data that I receive from the temperature sensor is byte-swapped (it is 16 bit long), when I use the spiStop() command.

spiStop() breaks SPI reception on STM32F042

Hi, I am using an STM32F042 and I want to use the I2C and SPI drivers together. Due to the DMA stream overlap, I need to use the start/stop functionality in both drivers. Still, there seems to be some conflict and I get broken data reception and transmission on SPI. I cannot exactly tell what is wro...

STUSB4500 USB power delivery driver

Hello, I ported the ST API to Chibios, in order to support the STUSB4500 USB PD IC. I will clean it up a bit more and make it resemble the usual chibios driver API. Where would be the best place to put it, so that it can be used by others as well? It does not really fit into the HAL/Contrib drivers,...

Git mirror of ChibiOs missing files

Hello, I am not sure where to put this, but maybe it fits here. In a project of mine that is on git, I want to use chibios as a submodule. Using the git mirror of the ChibiOs SVN, this works fine. However, I found that the fmpp template files for the boards are not there. Is this intentional or am I...

Cortex M-0 compilation with GCC > 5

Hello, compiling for Cortex M-0 I get the following warning: 132 | # "*** Use GCC version 5 or below ***" | warning^~~~~~~ "This compiler has a know problem with Cortex-M0, see bugs: 88167, 88656." However, checking the bug tracker, these bugs seem to be fixed in the current rele...

Re: Debugging double values, incorrectly reported

I have already tried swapping endianness for gdb, there is a setting for it, but it did not help. My converter gives me this number for the reordered hex key: 8.438553016e-315 (subnormal number) It is small but not quite the same. I will try to insert some values into memory later and see what gdb m...
