Re: STM32 MAC Checksum offload bug + PTP Topic is solved

Hi Giovanni,

As mentioned before it is my opinion that the ChibiOS implementation is sound and no patch needs to be applied.

RT-STM32F767ZI-NUCLEO144: invalid DMA stream associated to I2C4 (TX/RX) Topic is solved

If I enable I2C4 in the RT-STM32F767ZI-NUCLEO144 demo, I get the following error: In file included from ../../../os/hal/include/hal_i2c.h:85:0, from ../../../os/hal/include/hal.h:135, from ../../../os/hal/src/hal.c:25: ../../../os/hal/ports/STM32/LLD/I2Cv2/hal_i2c_lld.h:321:2: error: #error "in...

Re: [INFO] lwIP version 2.0 Topic is solved

Hi, When I submitted the patches I didn't use lwIP's embedded HTTP server for the demos because I thought that the existing code was more helpful for a beginner starting ChibiOS/lwIP development. I attach a patch that should fix the LWIP_TCPIP_CORE_LOCKING issue. I've tested this patch with the Olim...

Re: [INFO] Suggestions for submitting patches

Hi Giovanni,

What about switching completely to git and use git/github's tools to manage pull requests ?

Re: [INFO] lwIP version 2.0 Topic is solved

Thank you Giovanni.

I attach the second part of this patchset and the patched sources of lwip-2.0.3. I also included a patch showing what was changed in lwip. All the
ChibiOS demos using lwIP are functional. This patch should be applied against trunk.

Re: [INFO] lwIP version 2.0 Topic is solved

Hi Giovanni, I attach 5 patches to cleanup the lwip_bindings for the 2.x upgrade changing as little as possible. These patches should apply cleanly on top of the stable_17.6.x branch with patch -p1 Most of what was changed is based on steved patches and he deserves the credit. The next batch of patc...

Re: [INFO] lwIP version 2.0 Topic is solved

Hi,

Any news regarding this integration ? I've been using lwIP 2.0.2 and these patches for some time now with good results and I can help with the integration if needed.

steved wrote:Good that were able to test. As a matter of interest, how did you generate the faulty packets?

I used the hping3 tool with the -b flag (git://git.debian.org/collab-maint/hping3.git)

Re: STM32 MAC Checksum offload bug + PTP Topic is solved

Thank you for the information steved. Setting STM32_MAC_IP_CHECKSUM_OFFLOAD to 3 does indeed fix the issue I was having, my bad for not reading the hal_mac_lld.h header. I sent several ICMP packets with invalid checksums to test both implementations (mainline, drizzi's) and both are able to detect i...
