Re: STM32F405 bootloader issues

Hi nameofuser1,

I am also struggling my way through a CAN bootloader problem for F4 that I believe is vector table related. Would you be willing to share a working example code?

Best Regards,
George

Re: [INFO] The big TIM and IRQ rework

Good to know. Do you expect the rework to eventually apply to all families (F3, F4, ...)?

Re: Atmel Studio - new project from Makefile error (shell related)

On use of Simulator within AS7, I've spent a few hours trying to trigger external interrupts using stimulus files. So far no luck, the behaviors do not match my expectations and it is not easy to find info that can tell me why. It works for following program flow but interactions with external hardw...

Re: Atmel Studio - new project from Makefile error (shell related)

Quick Tutorial (from memory, not tested as a clean install): 1.) Install Atmel Studio 7 (AS7) from here: http://www.microchip.com/development-tools/atmel-studio-7 (I'm using build 1417 as of now, before Microchip-Atmel merge) Next we need to be set up for a makefile build in Windows. This part is ha...

Re: Atmel Studio - new project from Makefile error (shell related)

Hi Victor, You can find a ChibiOS-RT Leonardo demo under chibios\demos\AVR\RT-ARDUINOLEONARDO. There are several -NIL and -RT AVR platform demos in that folder. Also, see this post http://www.chibios.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=30094#p30094 I started with ChibiOS stable release, but found that at leas...

Re: Atmel Studio - new project from Makefile error (shell related)

The HAL pretty much isolates the hardware specific bits. The other processor specific bits are in the configuration files for halconf, mcuconf. Chibi config settings are somewhat dependent on processor capabilities as well. You need to be aware that AVR HAL and test suite are still under development...

Re: Atmel Studio - new project from Makefile error (shell related)

I am starting with 32 Hi Victor, You are starting with 32 what? Does this mean an ATMega32? Also, what hardware are you using for a debugger? I shared Windows toolchain instructions above. This is after installing Atmel Studio 7. You set up a new project within AS7 and specify Makefile build in Pro...

Re: [PATCH] AVR EXT Topic is solved

Note that you can write plain ISRs without putting any RTOS code inside, no overhead in that case. Giovanni Hi Giovanni, I ran a quick test per above with Chibios and plain ISRs for INT0 and INT1, as expected the interrupt latencies (1.4 and 4.7 uSec) reflect no additional overhead. Thanks, George

Re: [PATCH] AVR EXT Topic is solved

For what I have understand, you want to use an external interrupt generated by the MPU6050, to have IMU data. You have to know the frequency at which MPU6050 will trigger an interruption and see if you will have the time to (get the phone PID data + compute the PID asserv + Apply the PID result to ...
