Please insert, add following lines to the RCC helper driver header: /** * @name CRC peripheral specific RCC operations * @{ */ /** * @brief Enables the CRC peripheral clock. * * @param[in] lp low power enable flag * * @api...

[QUESTION] Version Info Query
Hi,
In the latest stable_18.2.x branch readme.txt file there is the mention of 18.2.1 and their fixed, updates.
Good going, as always, but should the version in <chversion.h> not reflect that too ?
Thanks and kind regards,
Peter.

Re: Question, DMA and U(S)ART use
Hi Giovanni, thanks for the reply. The goal was not to start a conversation about protocols and their implementation, sorry for not being all that clear. When I stumbled over the article on STM forum I just was wondering how ChibiOS was preventing from that to happen. How, is not that important to m...

Question, DMA and U(S)ART use
Hi All,
is the following known and covered in the DMA/UART/USART area.
Efficiently use of DMA with UART RX from ST forum
I'm just wondering how ChibiOS is preventing from data loss on the receiving side as described in above link.
Care to elaborate ?
Thanks in advance,
Peter.

Re: STM32F4xx and UART7/8 Topic is solved
Hi All, are you accepting updates on the USARTv1 LLD stuff ? I've got an update available for it that adds support for UART7 and UART8. I've attached a zip containing the changed files for hal_uart_lld.c hal_uart_lld.h They are in <whatever-root>\ChibiOS\os\hal\ports\STM32\LLD\USARTv1 Kind regards, ...

Re: Where to start STM32H7 support
Hi to all who put support into this, that is awesome work you have done there. Very big thumbs up, although I have only small ones, better for programming etc. ;) Just for confirmation, in the next release all hal_ext_lld_isr.* will be renamed into stm32_isr.*, correct ? Thanks and kind regards, Pet...

Hi Giovanni,
thanks for the quick reply.
We'll just be fine if you could publish an "untested" open source version.
Cheers,
Peter.
