Hard to tell what regressed, I have no board to test. What board are you using? are board files compatible? is the program even running?

That problem was about getting an interrupt in an unexpected state of the driver state machine, this seems to be the same, not sure if it is the same problem.

What version are you using? host?

It is likely because optimizations, it is impossible to associate 1 to 1 source to asm (inlining, unrolling, reordering, deleting, etc).
