Re: [DEV] STM32G4xx support

Hi,

I have the boards, I am looking at the documentation right now, I will start committing some code soon.

Support in OpenOCD would make things easier.

Re: stm32l031k6 and Comparator Setup and interrupt

Hi,

In ChibiOS there is no direct support for comparators, if you find generic code then it could be integrated with some effort, there we could help.

Re: Nucleo F767ZI - linker script and breakpoints

Hi,

I added rx/wx attributes to .ld files in trunk, does this fix the issue with breakpoint types?

Re: Thread priorities...

Hi, You should enable statistics and verify the worst case execution path for each thread assuming it is not an M0, in that case no statistics, you may try the profiler but it is way less accurate. Also make sure that the state checker and assertions are enabled, those would reveal if there are prob...

Re: [NOTES] Sandbox concept

Right now it is able to run multiple sandboxes already, creating multiple threads inside would be possible but there would be several problems to consider: - Sandboxed threads need 2 stacks: User-PSP and Supervisor-PSP. Creating a thread would require allocating a S-PSP on the RTOS side, that would ...

Re: c++ callback function in class

Callbacks must be C functions not C++ methods.

Re: [NOTES] Sandbox concept

Posix APIs are, in general, a good idea IMO. It's becoming increasingly possible to use 3rd party libraries which expect a Posix API, and having a proper implementation would be useful. (This includes a Posix wrapper for many RTOS functions) Posix is huge, the implementation it is limited to file h...

Re: [NOTES] Sandbox concept

I think stdin, stdout and stderr would be an important link between the sandbox and the main system. The stderr route might benefit from being treated as a higher priority, perhaps options to have errors treated as either fatal (perhaps chSysHalt) or recoverable, where the sandbox might be terminat...

Re: CAN bus driver - transmission abort

Moving to change request, I can add the API but implementing in LLD and testing is something I cannot do, that would require a special setup and instruments.

Re: [NOTES] Sandbox concept

I am going for a subset of Posix API too, basically the open/close/read/write/lseek group of functions as a start. The idea is to have a fully working C library inside the sandbox: file I/O, allocator, strings, formatting etc. The basic implementation would be to have stdin, stdout and stderr direct...
